Toledo Parents:

I am honored to have been chosen to lead the first Imagine School in Toledo. I grew up in Toledo and I have lived in this area all of my life. My educational experience is extensive and includes teaching at the elementary and high school levels in both general and special education. I have been a principal at elementary schools and a middle school. I have also served as a district curriculum director and facilitator of state and federal programs. I have most recently been a superintendent in a school district in southeast Michigan.

With all of that experience, there is one thing I know for sure, and that is all children can learn at high levels. I am committed to working with staff and parents to provide an environment that has a keen focus on academic achievement. We will use researched based strategies to meet the unique needs of every child. We will provide a thorough education in the basics for all students and challenge them to meet their full potentials. Character education will be integral to the curriculum and school environment.

I ask that you join the staff and me in doing whatever it takes to prepare your children for the next step in their education and, ultimately, for rewarding careers.
